ASG SC21 & Cyber Essentials
The ASG Continuous Improvement philosophy has been strongly linked to the ADS SC21 programme since 2017.
Utilising both the SC21 OE and C&G programmes all the ASG companies have seen significant productivity improvements over this period.
Presently Three of our companies from the Aerospace Division, are at the Silver award level or are about to progress from Bronze.
Two companies are actively involved in the first SC21 Competitiveness and Growth programme, being awarded around £750,000 of training over the programme.
Our remaining Aerospace & Tooling business units are now enrolled for the SC21 journey and will be commencing next year
The Cyber Essentials scheme has been welcomed by the ASG group. Protecting our customers intellectual property and delivering customer focused excellence is at the heart of ASG Group. We have recently achieved Cyber Essentials at two facilities and will achieve it at all within 12 months.
The ASG SC21 story so far
ASG have been involved with the ADS SC21 program since 2008 and have been awardees since 2013. The group presently hold Silver and Bronze awards with every machining company signed up on the journey and with planned dates for further submissions.
The group works with a SC21 facilitator (Dave Bull) who assists in the progression of the SC21 continuous improvement programme across all the business units.
About SC21
Supply Chains for the 21st Century (SC21) is an improvement programme designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the Aerospace and Defence industry by raising the performance of its supply chains.
Launched 13 years ago, it has grown into the largest Supply Chain Improvement programme in the UK Aerospace and Defence sector. The programme is endorsed by all major UK Aerospace and Defence companies, it is managed by ADS at a national and international level (Australia, Saudi Arabia, etc.) working with SC21 participants, prime contractors, regions and regional associations, strategic partners, accredited practitioners, training partners, providers, assessors and ambassadors.
