ASG Tooling is the supplier of choice for some of the world’s most complex projects -providing high tolerance large scale tooling for the most demanding of industries including aerospace, automotive and the defence sectors.

The firm has over 18-meter machining capability and has designed and manufactured the largest mould tool ever produced in the UK for Airbus ‘Wing of Tomorrow’ program.

At our UK & German facilities, we have the capability to deliver full turnkey packages from ‘cradle to grave,’ inclusive of design and stress analysis, manufacture, reverse engineering, final treatments, assembly and installation, metrology, logistics and maintenance.

Our team have extensive experience in managing & delivering complex projects on time, in budget and to the highest of quality & safety standards.

ASG Tooling has contributed to some of the largest and most important projects within the aerospace sector including the A320, A380, A350, B787, B747-800, C-17, A400M and F35JSF programs. Design, Fabrication, Machining, Finishing and Inspection are all carried out internally enabling greater control of timescales, cost and quality.

  • Projects & NPI Strategic work packages will be in loaded into ASG closely following the principles of APQP- Both within the UK and our global footprint.

    Typical tools adopted - PFMEA / FMEA / MSA / PPAP

    Our experienced project managers are all APMP certified are empowered as a single point of contact to deliver the project.

    The reporting structure will contain the following.

    Identification of Key Project Stakeholders

    Provides a level 1 executive overview of progress by operation for the whole project

    Provides a level 2 detailed project status report

    Identifies any special process requirements

    Holds a collaborative action plan / issue management log

    Maintains a supplier query note register so you can

    monitor & control outstanding supplier queries

    Drum beat communication will be delivered through on-site visits, weekly Webex sessions, and monthly high level performance reviews

Policies

  • 1. Conditions of Purchase

    Certificate of Conformity must accompany all deliveries
    When requested, Material Mill and Test Certificates must accompany all deliveries
    When requested, a First Article Inspection Report to AS9102 must accompany all deliveries
    If the supplier does not have all the necessary documentation at the requested revision level of this order, a formal request must be made to the named buyer on this order

    2. Non-conforming material

    The Supplier shall immediately notify B&H of any parts or material believed to be non-conforming and obtain approval for disposition. This includes parts already delivered.

    3. Change in product or process

    The Supplier shall notify B&H of any changes to product or processes applicable to this purchase, including change of manufacturing location or next tier supplier.

    4. Rights of access

    The Quality Assurance representatives of B&H, its customers and appropriate regulatory authorities reserve the right to verify at source that the purchased product and processes conform to order requirements. Quality records relating to product and or process shall be made available as required.

    5. Sub-tier suppliers

    Sub-tier s uppliers shall not be used without the prior agreement of B&H. The Supplier shall flow down the requirements of this Purchase Order to any sub-tier supplier.

    6. Record retention

    Quality Records shall be protected and not disposed of without prior agreement of B&H. Suppliers to certify that all materials incorporated into the final product were sourced, processed and manufactured in compliance with the human trafficking and slavery laws of the country or countries in which they operate.

    7. Inducements and Anti Bribery

    The supplier shall not:

    7.1. Induce any employee of the purchaser to make any concessions to the supplier in return for any gift, money or other inducement.

    7.2. Pay money or give any other benefit to any third party (either directly or indirectly) in connection with the issue of the order.

    7.3. Encourage an employee of the purchaser to commit any act of dishonesty against the purchaser.

    8. Counterfeit Parts

    Supplier shall not deliver Counterfeit Goods or Suspect Counterfeit Goods to Buyer under this purchase. Supplier shall immediately notify

    Buyer with the pertinent facts if Supplier becomes aware that it has delivered Counterfeit Goods or Suspect Counterfeit Goods.

    9. FOD Prevention

    The supplier shall assure that work is accomplished in a manner preventing foreign objects or material from entering and remaining in deliverable items.

    10. Ethical Standards

    The supplier shall at all times comply with the ethical standards set out below.

    Supplier shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations promoting the importance of ethical behaviour and ensuring personnel are aware of their contribution to product conformity and product safety; protect against the use of workers younger that the minimum age required by law; project against the use of forced labour; provide appropriate wages and benefits as require by law; protect against excessive working hours that exceed local laws or business customs; protect against physical and mental punishment of workers; protect against unlawful discrimination against workers and encourage employment based on ability; respect worker’s rights to associate freely; maintain safe and clean workplaces, including any residential facilities, in compliance with the law.
