ASG Aerospace Hails Airbus A220 Milestone Following Major AirAsia Order

ASG Group has welcomed Airbus’ landmark order for 150 A220-300 aircraft from AirAsia, describing the announcement as positive news for the entire global aerospace supply chain.

The agreement, announced at Airbus’ Mirabel facility in Canada, marks the largest single firm order for the A220 programme and pushes the aircraft beyond 1,000 firm orders worldwide.

For ASG Aerospace, which supports major aerospace programmes through precision engineering and surface treatment services, the deal reflects continued confidence in commercial aviation and long-term aircraft production.

Commenting on the announcement, Simon Weston, CEO of ASG Group, said:
