ASG Aerospace Prepares for Record-Breaking Farnborough International Airshow 2026

Global aerospace industry gathers for the largest Farnborough International Airshow in history as ASG Aerospace showcases UK manufacturing excellence alongside the Midlands Aerospace Alliance.

Anticipation is building for what promises to be the most significant Farnborough International Airshow in the event's 78-year history. With exhibition space sold out a full year in advance, a sixth exhibition hall added to accommodate demand, and international participation at record levels, Farnborough 2026 is set to reflect an industry operating at full throttle.

Among the companies preparing to capitalise on the opportunities presented by the global showcase is ASG Aerospace, one of the UK's leading providers of aerospace surface treatments and manufacturing support services.

ASG Aerospace will be exhibiting as part of the Midlands Aerospace Alliance (MAA) presence in Hall 1, UK Pavilion, Stand 1320, joining a strong contingent of advanced manufacturing businesses from one of Europe's most important aerospace regions.

The scale of Farnborough 2026 underlines the strength of the aerospace market. More than 100,000 visitors are expected to attend the five-day event, with 28 international pavilions already confirmed and more than 63 per cent of exhibitors coming from outside the UK. Industry giants including Airbus, Boeing, Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems, Leonardo, Lockheed Martin and GE Aerospace will be present alongside an increasingly diverse ecosystem of suppliers, innovators and emerging technology companies.

For ASG Aerospace, the event comes at a time of sustained growth across both civil aerospace and defence programmes.

Simon Weston, CEO of ASG Aerospace, believes the record-breaking nature of the show reflects the wider momentum being experienced throughout the sector.

"Farnborough has always been one of the most important events in the global aerospace calendar, but the scale of this year's show demonstrates just how strong the industry's outlook has become," said Weston.

"We're seeing increasing demand across commercial aviation, defence and space programmes, creating significant opportunities throughout the supply chain. Farnborough provides a unique environment where customers, OEMs, Tier One suppliers and specialist manufacturers can come together to discuss future requirements and build long-term partnerships."

The 2026 event is expected to place particular emphasis on defence capability, supply chain resilience, sustainability, digitalisation and future aviation technologies.

For ASG Aerospace, it provides an opportunity to engage with customers, partners and industry leaders from around the world while showcasing the expertise, investment and capability that continue to strengthen the UK's aerospace manufacturing sector.

Visitors wishing to meet the ASG Aerospace team can do so at the Midlands Aerospace Alliance stand in Hall 1, UK Pavilion, Stand 1320, throughout Farnborough International Airshow 2026, taking place from 20–24 July 2026.
