ASG Aerospace welcomes Rolls-Royce Holdings plc’s robust 2025 results

Rolls-Royce Holdings plc has reported a powerful set of full-year results for 2025. The underlining the pace and depth of its multi-year transformation programme has reinforced confidence across the global aerospace supply chain.

Chief Executive Tufan Erginbilgic described the results as evidence that the company’s transformation is delivering outcomes “not possible before,” highlighting improved resilience, stronger margins in Civil Aerospace, and disciplined capital allocation.

“It is great to see our major customer delivering such strong strategic and financial progress,” said Simon Weston, CEO of ASG Aerospace. “The improvement in operating margin, free cash flow and balance sheet strength demonstrates that the transformation programme is not only working, but creating long-term resilience across the value chain.”

Weston added: “For businesses like ASG Aerospace, this kind of performance provides clarity. When a global engine OEM upgrades its mid-term guidance and commits to significant shareholder returns, it reflects confidence in production outlook, aftermarket demand and sustained flying hour growth. We are seeing that confidence translate into programme stability and forward planning discussions.”

For the aerospace supply chain, the implications are significant. Engine flying hours are forecast to reach 115–120% of 2019 levels in 2026, alongside 550–600 original equipment deliveries and up to 1,550 shop visits. These metrics underpin sustained aftermarket activity — a key driver of profitability across the sector.

Weston concluded: “The scale of Rolls-Royce’s upgraded targets and performance demonstrates real confidence in the durability of the aerospace recovery. As a resilient Tier 1 partner, we are proud to play our part in delivering that performance.”

With transformation gathering pace and upgraded mid-term targets now in sight two years earlier than planned, Rolls-Royce’s 2025 results represent more than a strong financial year — they mark a structural shift in competitiveness and resilience, reinforcing optimism throughout the aerospace ecosystem.
