ASG Bremerhaven Inspires Future Engineers at Loxstedt Career Fair
ASG Bremerhaven welcomed more than 50 students to its stand during the career orientation fair at Haupt- und Realschule Loxstedt on May 6, highlighting the company’s commitment to developing the next generation of engineering talent.
Representing the business at the event, the ASG Bremerhaven team introduced students to the opportunities available through its engineering apprenticeship programmes, offering insight into daily responsibilities, technical requirements and long-term career pathways within the aerospace sector.
The event generated strong interest from students keen to explore technical careers, with a number of initial discussions taking place around potential internship opportunities for next year. The day concluded with an interactive quiz, where three students walked away with prizes.
Marcus Griep, Operations Manager at ASG Bremerhaven, said the event reinforced the importance of building strong connections with young people early in their career journeys.
“Investing in the next generation is essential for our future. Days like this remind us why building those connections early matters so much.”
“A big thank you to the school and organisers for putting together such a well-run event. We’re already looking forward to the next one.”
The initiative reflects ASG Bremerhaven’s ongoing focus on strengthening future talent pipelines and encouraging more young people to consider careers in engineering and aerospace manufacturing.
