As the Paris International Airshow draws to a close—where the world’s aerospace leaders converge to shape the future of flight—ASG Group has marked its first appearance with energy, ambition, and a strong message about the power of people and partnerships.

From the heart of the Midlands Aerospace Alliance (MAA) pavilion at Le Bourget, ASG Group brought a youthful and fresh presence to the show. Representing the next generation of UK advanced manufacturing, a team of emerging leaders from across ASG's network of UK and European sites joined senior executives to connect with international customers and collaborators.

For Stephen Dean, Managing Director of ASG King & Fowler, the show was never just about visibility—it was about relationships. “This is a reunion of the industry’s most influential minds,” Dean said. “It’s where future programmes are scoped, where trust is reinforced, and where being present shows commitment. It’s incredibly valuable for a business like ASG Group, which thrives on strong customer partnerships.”

That emphasis on building trust and alignment came through in every meeting and conversation. As aerospace primes ramp up production and seek reliable, responsive supply chain partners, ASG Group’s message was clear: collaboration, not just capability, drives long-term success. “We’ve invested heavily in our capability and capacity—but equally important is that we show up, listen to our customers, and build trust,” Dean added. “That’s the foundation for any long-term partnership.”

Dan Hall, Director of ASG TGM, echoed that sentiment. As part of the delegation meeting with key Tier 1s and OEMs, he reflected on the unique opportunity that the show offers for deeper understanding.

“Being at Paris with our younger team members was a chance to not just showcase what we can do technically—but to demonstrate who we are culturally,” Hall said. “This industry is built on shared values: precision, integrity, commitment. You live them. And the team delivered on these values this week in Paris.”

The presence of ASG Group’s young pioneers—emerging professionals across engineering, commercial, and operations roles—sent a strong signal about the future of the business. It wasn’t just about today’s opportunities, but tomorrow’s leadership. “There’s something incredibly powerful about watching the next generation engage directly with senior aerospace executives,” Hall continued. “It’s how relationships are seeded, and how capability gets matched with character. That’s how real partnerships begin.”

With over £5 million recently invested in facilities, automation, and process innovation—from advanced machining in Coventry to enhanced surface treatments in Liverpool—ASG Group’s technical capabilities are well-known. But in Paris, it was the human side of the business that drew attention. “I’ve had conversations this week that simply wouldn’t happen over a Zoom call,” Dean said. “There’s something irreplaceable about sitting down with a customer, discussing their challenges face-to-face, and showing them how we’re investing to support their long-term goals.”

As thousands of industry leaders, delegations, and decision-makers walked the halls of Le Bourget, the ASG team stood out not just for their engineering pedigree—but for their energy, authenticity, and readiness to collaborate.

“At the end of the day, aerospace is still a people business,” Dean reflected. “We’re here because we value those relationships—and because we know that’s where great programmes begin.”
