ASG Group Celebrates Stephen Dean’s Recognition as a ‘Young Pioneer’ in The Manufacturer Top 100

ASG Group is delighted to announce that Stephen Dean, Managing Director of ASG King & Fowler, has been officially recognised as a ‘Young Pioneer’ in The Manufacturer Top 100—a prestigious annual programme that honours the most inspiring and dynamic individuals shaping the future of UK manufacturing.

The Young Pioneer category celebrates professionals who have made an impact disproportionate to their years—trailblazers who are driving innovation, transformation, and leadership across the industry. Stephen’s inclusion is a fitting recognition of the significant contributions he has made at ASG King & Fowler and across the wider ASG Group.

Since joining ASG in 2021, Stephen has been part of a remarkable transformation of King & Fowler, one of the UK’s most historic surface treatments providers. Over the past 18 months—first as Operations Director and now as Managing Director—he has overseen major capital investment by ASG Group, strengthened customer partnerships, and built a revitalised leadership culture aligned with long-term growth.

Stephen’s achievements include help manage the modernisation of critical aerospace processes, improved on-time delivery and quality metrics, and the development of a high-performance leadership team—all while preserving the 137-year legacy of King & Fowler. His ability to blend operational excellence with customer insight has helped reposition the business as a trusted, forward-thinking supplier in a highly competitive sector.
